and Spirituality Our Activities Department serves the mind, body, and spirit of our residents, and is a major part of McCarrick’s mission. Meeting people and socializing are important factors in promoting quality of life. All residents are encouraged to attend our recreational programs, crafts, and other social events. Many people benefit physically and emotionally from regular interaction with animals. A variety of well-behaved pets, including birds, rabbits, cats, and guinea pigs, are available throughout McCarrick to provide stimulation and companionship to our residents. McCarrick’s beautiful chapel offers regularly scheduled religious services and daily Mass. A priest is available to minister to residents’ spiritual needs. |
