Health
Services
Residents have access to a broad array of qualified professional
health services. McCarricks clinical programs are overseen
by a certified Medical Director who is a board-certified geriatrician,
and supported by geriatric clinical nurse specialists, geriatric
social workers, an activities director, specially trained nurses
and certified nursing assistants.
Physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy services
are available five days a week in our sunny, well-equipped gym.
Each of our therapists is highly skilled in evaluating residents
with debilities and establishing realistic goals for them to achieve
the highest level of pain-free living.
McCarrick supports the use of pain management (palliative care)
to ensure residents remain comfortable and at peace. We also provide
a hospice program that serves the needs of the terminally ill and
their families.
Should any resident require hospitalization, Saint Peters
University Hospital, a 422-bed major teaching hospital, is located
just a few miles away. |
